POLICE have launched an appeal to find an Oxford woman whose family have not seen her for nine months.

Lauren Glasgow was last seen by her family in the city during May 2015.

The 24-year-old has links with London, where it is believed she has worked, and was last spoken to there in August 2015.

Police today said they were concerned about her safety, after she was reported missing on January 16 this year.

She has previously worked in Harrods, in Knightsbridge, although it is not known if this is where she was working when she was last seen.

Ms Glasgow also has links to Putney in London and is described as being of mixed race, 4ft 6ins, slim and with black hair.

Investigating officer DI Paul Miller of Oxford said: “I would like to speak to anyone who has any information about Lauren's whereabouts or anyone who thinks they may have seen her to contact police immediately.

“Lauren would normally keep in touch with members of her family, but no-one has heard from her since August last year.

"They have no current phone numbers for her as her previous ones are no longer in use, and they are very concerned for her safety.

“Lauren, if you are reading this, please get in contact with a family member or the police so we know you are safe and well."

Those with information should call 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on  0800 555 111.
