WISHING TREES, bees and recycling played a key role in yesterday's Headington Eco Festival.
Residents young and old across Oxford turned out at Holy Trinity Church in Headington Quarry to discuss ways of being more "green".
Judi Tarrant of Oxfordshire Bee Keeping Association came along to discuss having bee hives at the church, while brother and sister Pippa, 10, and Toby Hill, 12, learnt a thing or two about recycling.
And Richard Bradley, chairman of Friends of Stansfield, brought along his wishing tree to support the campaign of keeping Stansfield Outdoor Centre open.
