THE final proposed route of Oxford's £120m flood alleviation channel will be revealed at Oxford Town Hall on Tuesday, June 28.
The Environment Agency has spent more than four months nailing down the design after a series of public consultations on options in January.
The 7km channel would run from near Seacourt Park-and-Ride on Botley Road to somewhere in Sandford-on-Thames or Kennington and take excess water away from the River Thames, reducing the risk of the river flooding Oxford city centre.
Once the EA has gathered feedback on its final option it will need to win planning permission from the government.
