LARSSON Timony (pictured) broke out into the lead at the start of this year's Bagley Wood Fun Run.
The 10-year-old was one of dozens of people who laced up their running shoes for the event, which is in its 26th year.
It saw locals sprint, jog or walk to raise money for village charity Kennington Overseas Aid.
People taking part set off from Forest Side Playing Field to take a three-and-a-quarter mile route through Bagley Wood on land owned by St John's College, Oxford.
All were welcome for the run – including pet dogs.
It is hoped sponsorship cash from the event will contribute towards Kennington Overseas Aid target of fundraising £18,000.
The group wants to split the money into three £6,000 projects for its chosen charities, Lunch4Learning, the Nasio Trust and the Children's Radio Foundation.
