FIREFIGHTERS tackled a kitchen blaze in East Oxford which started while a family were cooking lunch.
Two fire engines were sent to the house in Saunders Close on Wednesday at 2pm.
Crews discovered the oven on fire and smoke had filled the ground floor.
The family managed to get out of the house in time and nobody was injured.
