AN UNUSUAL mannequin kitted out in a dress made entirely of flowers is causing a stir in Witney High Street.
Minster Lovell florist Lyn Oswin, of Enchanted Floristry, only set up her firm last November, but her "quirky" designs are already becoming a talking point in the town.
In a bid to drum up some business she visited several wedding shops in Witney, and was asked by Caroline Jane Couture, a bridal shop, to make a floral dress "statement piece" for outside her firm.
Mrs Oswin, who works from a little hut her husband built for her in the garden, said: "It was amazing. Within 10 minutes of dropping off the mannequin Caroline rang me and said about 40 people had stopped to take a picture of it.
"It took me a whole day to do. The moss is real but the flowers are artificial, otherwise they would die so quickly. It's so unusual and quirky. I've had a few more people ask if I can make one for them now."
