OXFORD United fans all over the county and beyond will be heading to Wembley after the club revealed a ‘heat map’ of where people had bought tickets.
The map showed high concentrations of fans from Oxford, of course, but also high numbers in Abingdon, Woodstock and Chipping Norton.
More than 25,000 U’s fans have bought their tickets for next Sunday’s Checkatrade Trophy final so far with more expected to bring that figure close to 30,000 in the coming week.
Fans from outside Oxfordshire out towards Cheltenham and as far as Worcester and Stratford-upon-Avon will also be off to Wembley to see the Yellows take on Coventry.
The club also tweeted a UK-wide map which revealed fans from Northern Ireland, Glasgow and Edinburgh had also purchased tickets.
