OXFORD MAGISTRATES’

LESLIE WHEELER, 33, of Cherry Road, Banbury was convicted of using a mobile phone while driving on May 10 in Hennef Way, Banbury. He was fined £220 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85.

ADAM WILLIAMS, 27, of Coltsfoot Square, Oxford, was convicted of speeding at 72mph in a 50mph zone in A4142, Eastern Bypass, Oxford on May 21. He was fined £440 and must pay a victim surcharge of £44 and court costs of £85.

SHAUN YOUNG, 20, of Leach Road, Bicester, was convicted of using a motor vehicle without third party insurance in Bucknell Road, Bicester on May 24. He was fined £660 and must pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £85.

JENNIFER MACFARLANE, 43, of Russet Road, Ardley, was convicted of speeding at 42mph in a 30mph zone in B430, Ardley Road, Middleton Stoney on April 10. She was fined £150 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85.

STEVEN ANTHONY NORMAN, 31, of Western Crescent, Banbury, was convicted of speeding at 96mph in a 70mph zone in the A34 Southbound, near Islip on July 22. He was fined £333 and must pay a victim surcharge of £33 and court costs of £85.

RACHEL PIKE, 31, of Henley Road, Shillingford, was convicted of speeding at 50mph in a 30mph zone in A415, Abingdon Road, Culham on August 12. She was fined £155 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85.

NICHOLAS SMITH, 35, of Nightingale Way, Didcot, was convicted of using a motor vehicle without third party insurance in Broadway, Didcot on May 10. He was fined £300 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85.

CHARLES WILLIAMS, 19, of Whitecross, Wootton, admitted speeding at an average speed of 45.39mph in a 30mph zone in Whitecross, Abingdon, on February 11. He was fined £270 and has to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £300.

UMAR FAROQ, 19, of Ferguson Road, Banbury, admitted possessing a knife or offensive weapon in HMP Bullingdon, Bicester on June 4. He was conditionally discharged for 12 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and court costs of £40.

SHANE HYDE, 28, of Springfield Road, Wantage, admitted carrying a silver kitchen knife without good reason in Springfield Road, Wantage on September 27. A community order was made and he must carry out unpaid work for 40 hours in the next 12 months. He must also pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £85.

BANBURY MAGISTRATES’

LIAM HYATT, 19, of Black Bourton Road, Carterton, admitted to burglary, stealing clothing valued at approximately £1,500 from Pegasus House in Carterton Industrial Estate on October 17. He was given a curfew with electric monitoring which will last three months and was ordered to pay £50 compensation and £50 of court costs.

VICTORIA BROOKS, 41, C/O Vale oad, Witney, admitted to theft from the Co-operative Food in Northfield Farm Way, Witney; theft from Marks and Spencers in Marriotts Walk, Witney; another theft from Marks and Spencer in Marriotts Walk, Witney; and committing an offence during a period of a suspended sentence. She was sentenced to prison for 12 weeks and ordered to pay compensation of £218 in total.

DARREN RUSSELL, 31, C/O Vale Road, Witney, admitted to two thefts from Marks and Spencer in Marriotts Walk, Witney. He was sentenced to prison for six weeks and ordered to pay compensation of £218 in total.

CHARLEY BRAKESPEAR, 16, of Hemingway Drive, Bicester, admitted to assaulting a woman by beating her in Bicester on May 26. She was referred to the Oxfordshire youth offender panel and ordered to pay £50 compensation.

ELENA STOICA, 25, of Southam Road, Banbury, admitted to theft from Debenhams in Banbury, and two counts of assault by beating a man in Banbury on June 19. She was ordered to pay compensation amounting to £273 and court costs of £200.

NIJUITHAYACHANDRAN ITHAYACHANDRAN, 25, of Andersons Close, Kidlington, admitted to drink driving in Bicester on October 5, with 68mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35mcg; driving without insurance; and driving without a licence. He was fined £420, ordered to pay a surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85. He was banned from holding or obtaining a licence for 18 months.

JEAN-MARIE BOUNOUNGOU, 35, of Launton Road, Bicester, admitted to flytipping builders' bags, suitcases, a child’s rocking chair and other items on land belonging to Wedgwood CRC Ltd in Bicester on October 13. He was fined £275 and ordered to pay compensation of £100, a surcharge of £30 and court costs of £345.

ROBERT WHITE, 35, of Swallow Close, Bicester, admitted to stealing a wallet, laptop, camera and other items coming to the value of £1,860 from a car in Bicester on June 13; and committing an offence whilse subject to a conditional discharge. He was ordered to comply with a drug rehabilitation requirement and pay compensation of £200.

HUSSAIN HUMZA, 22, of Saunders Road, Oxford, admitted to breaching a non-molestation order made by a family court by contacting a person by phone and in person. He was fined £269 and ordered to pay a surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85.

ELIZA ROBERTS, 28, of Chapel Street, Bicester admitted to driving above a 30mph speed limit in Warwickshire on February 22. She was fined £100 and ordered to pay a surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85. Her licence was endorsed with three penalty points.
