Students at King Alfred's Academy checked out their chances with the likes of Culham Centre for Fusion Energy and Williams F1 last Tuesday.
The day started with three presentations about careers in animation from former pupils now working in London, followed by the futuristic fair at the nearby Wantage Leisure Centre.
Year 10 Clare Dunford said: "I learnt many valuable things.
"I would say my mind has been opened to more careers than I had previously acknowledged, it was an influential day."
Georgia Ellacott added: "I feel much more confident about what I want to study and how to achieve my goals."
