BANBURY MAGISTRATES

MARC KENT, 32, of East Challow, Wantage, was convicted of speeding on the M4, Berkshire, on July 11 by driving 90 mph in a 50 mph area. He was fined £380 and must pay a victim surcharge of £38 and court costs of £85 and was disqualified from driving for 28 days.

BRIAN SUGG, 51, of Berkshire Road, Oxfordshire, admitted speeding at Greys Road, Henley-on-Thames, on July 5 by driving 37 mph in a 30 mph area. He was given a no totting disqualification and must pay a fine of £184, a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85 and his driving licence was endorsed with three penalty points.

SHAUN GRANT, 46, of Budds Close, Woodstock, admitted driving above the legal alcohol limit on February 24 at Woodstock, Oxfordshire with 59mcg of alcohol in 100 ml of breath. He was fined £415 and must pay a victim surcharge of £41 and court costs of £85 and disqualified from driving for 36 months.

JUDITH PERFECT, 61, of Vicarage Road, Kidlington, admitted driving above the legal alcohol limit on February 23 at Kidlington with 88mcg of alcohol in 100 ml of breath. She was fined £206 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85 and was disqualified from driving for 22 months.

ASHLEY WHITTAKER, 27, of Circular Road, Ambrosden, admitted driving above the legal alcohol limit on February 25 at Market Place, Bicester with 100mcg of alcohol in 100 ml of breath as well as driving without a valid test certificate. He was fined £404 and must pay a victim surcharge of £40 and court costs of £85 and was disqualified from driving for 20 months.

Matthew BAGNALL-NEVERS, 29, of Nye Bevan Close, Cowley, Oxford, admitted fraud by stealing a credit and bank card valued at £47.54 and purchasing alcohol with a stolen credit card at Oxford on March 11 as well as breaching a previously imposed suspended sentence. He was jailed for a total of five weeks and must pay a victim surcharge of £115 and compensation of £86.82

JOSHUA SMALLEY, 25, of Western Crescent, Banbury, admitted causing criminal damage to a letter box at Herald Way, Bicester, on March 8. He was given a conditional discharge for six months and must pay compensation of £30, a victim surcharge of £20 and court costs of £85.

Scott SUMNERS, 50, of Lodge Terrace, Chipping Norton, admitted assaulting a woman at Chipping Norton on March 10. He was made subject to a community order to include participation in the Building Better Relationships programme for 30 days and a rehabilitation activity requirement for 15 days and unpaid work for 80 hours. He must also pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £85 and obey a restraining order against his victim.

OXFORD MAGISTRATES

VICTOR SEYMOUR, 35, of no fixed abode, admitted to stealing two brakes form a bike belonging to a man in Queens Lane, Oxford, on March 10. Rehabilitation activity requirement. Victim surcharge £85 and costs £85.

PHILIP SINETTO, 37, of Ashhurst Way, Oxford, admitted to assaulting a woman by beating her in Oxford on March 11. Prison sentence of 16 weeks suspended for 24 months. Compensation £300, victim surcharge £115 and £85 costs.

JOHN PATRICK MICHAEL BOYLE, 53, of Westbrook, Wantage, was convicted of driving while disqualified and driving without insurance in Abingdon on November 13 and driving while disqualified and driving without insurance in Abingdon on November 14. Prison sentence of 12 weeks suspended for 24 months. Victim surcharge £115 and £775 costs.

GHADA MOHAMED MOOSA AL-YOUSEF, 38, of Bayswater Road, London, admitted to driving at 39mph in Banbury Road, Oxford, a 30mph zone, on August 12. Fined £100, victim surcharge £30 and £85 costs.Three penalty points.

PAUL ARCHER, 54, of Standhills Road, Kingswinford, Dudley, admitted to driving at 36mph on Botley Road, Oxford, a 30mph zone, on September 11. Fined £100, victim surcharge £30 and £85 costs. Three penalty points.

DEAN BRADLEY ATKINS, 27, of Augusta Way West, Andover, was convicted of failing to provide evidence to police in Banbury relating to the identification of a vehicle suspected of committing an offence between October 11 and November 8. Fined £660, victim surcharge £66 and £85 costs. Six penalty points.

HELLEN LOUISE BARTON, 55, of Wytham Street, Oxford, admitted to driving at 37mph in Headington Road, Oxford, a 30mph zone, on August 8. Fined £100, victim surcharge £30 and costs £85. Three penalty points.

STEFAN GABRIEL CALISTRU, 25, of Brooklands Road, Bletchley, was convicted of driving at 40mph in Marston Road, Oxford, a 30mph zone, on August 10. Three penalty points.
