OXFORD MAGISTRATES’

MISHA CLARKE, 25, of Jacobs Yard, Middle Barton, admitted drink-driving in Thames Street, Oxford on April 28. Had 89mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, exceeding the limit of 35mcg. Fined £160, must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85. Disqualified from driving for 20 months.

JANET CAROL ANNE MILLIKIN, 61, of Fitchett Yard, Abingdon, admitted assaulting a woman in East Street, Abingdon, on April 27. Conditionally discharged for 12 months, must pay £25 compensation.

THOMAS TATFORD, 26, of Beaker Place, Milton, admitted drink-driving in Sutton Courtenay Road, Abingdon, on April 29. Had 101mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, exceeding the limit of 35mcg. Fined £577, must pay a victim surcharge of £57 and court costs of £85. Disqualified from driving for 23 months.

SHAUN BUCHAN, 30, of no fixed address, admitted using threatening, abusive and insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause fear in Gloucester Green, Oxford, on May 13. Fined £80, must pay a victim surcharge of £30.

SEAN STANLEY GARSIDE, 28, of Vineyard, Abingdon, admitted stealing alcohol worth £16 from Tesco in Oxford on March 12. Conditionally discharged for six months, must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and court costs of £85.

SHANE LOVERIDGE, 24, of Maclean Drive, Southmoor, admitted stealing two video games worth £30 from Sainsbury’s in Wantage on November 23 and a microwave oven worth £49.99 from B&M Bargain Store in Wantage on November 28. Fined £150, must pay £79.99 compensation and £85 court costs.

RACHEL EMILY MASON, 33, of O’Hanlon House, Oxford, admitted stealing a coat worth £29.99 from Barnado’s charity shop in Cowley Road, Oxford, on March 13. Fined £150, must pay £29.99 compensation, £30 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

SAJJAD TASIB, 32, of Wilkins Road, Oxford, admitted using threatening and abusive words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Hythe Bridge Street, Oxford, on April 29. Fined £100, must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85.

STEPHEN OTTO, 43, of no fixed address, admitted failing to surrender to custody at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on May 14. Community order made and he must carry out 40 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months. Must pay a victim surcharge of £85.

KALSOOM RANA, 46, of Morrell Avenue, Oxford, admitted failing to take a breath test during the course of an investigation into whether he had committed an offence. Also used threatening, abusive and insulting words towards police and ambulance staff in Oxford on April 28. Sentenced to 18 weeks in prison, suspended for 24 months. Must pay a victim surcharge of £115 and court costs of £85. Disqualified from driving for 48 months.

Jacob CHAMBERS, 29, of James Street, East Oxford, admitted sending an electronic communication that was grossly offensive or indecent between September 10 and 21 at Blackbird Leys, Oxford. He was made subject to a community order to include 180 hours of unpaid work and must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £85 as well as obey a restraining order from his victim.

Christine RUGUMBA, 41, of Horspath Road, Oxford, admitted assaulting a woman on March 31 at Oxford. She was made subject to a community order to include a rehabilitation activity requirements of 10 days and must pay compensation of £50.

BANBURY MAGISTRATES’

NEIL HESSIAN, 37, of Viliers Road, Bicester, admitted speeding at 112 mph in a 70 mph zone on the A34, Islip, near Oxford, on January 7. He was fined £750 and must pay a victim surcharge of £75 and court costs of £85 and was disqualified from driving for 28 days.

JAMES COOPER, 34, of Mold Crescent, Banbury, admitted stealing a pint of milk and a 10-pack of Strongbow dark fruit cans valued at £11.15 from McColls, South Barr Street, Banbury, on January 28. He was fined £66 and must pay compensation of £11.15, a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85.

TREASURE MUHWEZI, 28, of Bath Road, Oxford, admitted stealing two bottles of Courvoisier Brandy valued at £61 from Tesco, Cowley Road, on April 6. She was given a conditional discharge for 12 months and must pay compensation of £36, a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £50.

GILLIAN ROSS, 55, of Grange Road, Banbury, admitted dishonestly failing to notify the department for work and pensions of a change of circumstances that would affect entitlement to employment support allowance between February 28, 2013, and June 12, 2016, at Banbury. She was made subject to a community order to include 100 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £85.

Krzysztof TELAK, 42, of Rookery Way, Bicester, was convicted of driving a vehicle above the legal alcohol limit and driving without insurance on December 24 at Banbury. Had 119mcg of alcohol in 100 ml of breath. He was made subject to a community order to include 300 hours of unpaid work to be completed within 12 months and must pay a fine of £300, a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £770 and was disqualified from driving for 52 months.

WILLIAM NORMAN, 37, of Windrush, Banbury, admitted failing to co-operate with a road-side breath test on March 2 at Foscote Rise, Banbury, and failing to provide a specimen for analysis on March 3 at Banbury as well as driving without a driving licence and third party insurance. He was fined a total of £500 and must pay a victim surcharge of £40 and court costs of £250 and was disqualified from driving for 12 months.
