A FIRE station in south Oxfordshire is holding an open day today.
Wantage Fire Station will open its doors from 10am - 3pm and raise money for local charities.
A specialist rescue vehicle will be on site in Ormond Road, alongside a St Johns' ambulance crew and Team Mikayla, a local charity who make the dreams of ill children come true.
The day aims to give locals a chance to meet the crew and participate in some fire service related activities, while a number of other stalls will also be available.
The money raised will be split between the Fire Fighters charity and Team Mikayla.
