ANOTHER Oxfordshire town post office has been refurbished and reopened with extended opening hours.

Rowes Newsagents, which hosts a Costcutters and Wantage Post Office, is now providing extended services from 5am to 11pm, seven days a week.

After a three-week refurbishment, Post Office services are now provided from three counters.

The main counters are open Monday to Saturday, 9am – 5.30pm and the one at the retail counter will be open throughout the store’s opening hours.

That amounts to an extra 80 hours each week, while a wider selection of travel money is also available.

Post Office account executive Daniel Rooney said: "We are making it easier for customers to get cash, send and collect their mail and bank."
