A LONDONER who came to Abingdon to sell crack and heroin has been jailed for two years and four months.
Miles Griffiths, 21, of Westbrook Road, Croydon, was stopped by police in East St Helen Street on Friday, June 15.
He was searched and found to have two mobile phones.
A subsequent search of a room he was staying in found 381 wraps of crack cocaine and 18 wraps of heroin.
Griffiths pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply and was sentenced at Oxford Crown Court on Tuesday.
Detective Constable Garry Dixon said: "This is another example of the excellent work being carried out to disrupt county drugs lines as part of our Stronghold campaign.
"The campaign focuses on disrupting the efforts of organised crime groups while providing safeguarding to vulnerable people who are affected in our communities.
"In this case a significant amount of illegal substances were prevented from entering the streets of the Thames Valley."
