A TEN year old has undergone a dramatic haircut for the third time in her short life to help children who have lost their hair from cancer.

Megan Virtue first cut off almost all her hair when she was five years old and lost her pigtails again on Wednesday - donating the 12 inches to the Little Princess Trust charity.

Megan was first inspired to take action after watching a clip on TV of a young girl who was losing her hair due to chemotherapy treatment.

She saw how devastated and upset this girl was at losing a part of her identity and was deeply affected by it.

The girl was then given a wig which made her face light up.

As well as donating her hair, Megan, from Didcot, has raised £560.50 for the Little Princess Trust, which provides real hair wigs for young girls and boys suffering hair loss from cancer and other illnesses.
