POLICE are searching for a man wanted in connection with a burglary in Didcot who could be sleeping rough in Oxford. 

The force has issued a public appeal to trace Peter John Clark, 48, of no fixed abode.

He is wanted on suspicion of a burglary in Didcot which took place at 2.40am on Saturday, August, 25.

Clark is described as white, around 6ft tall with a medium build, receding ginger hair and blue eyes.

He is believed to have connections to Reading, Oxford, and South and Vale areas and also previously lived in Scotland.

Investigating officer Detective Sergeant Aidan Donohoe, of Abingdon Police Station, said: “Anyone who sees someone they believe to be Clark is advised not to approach him, but to call 999.

“We believe that he may be sleeping rough and moving around the Thames Valley area using public transport.

“If you have any knowledge of his whereabouts, please get in touch on 101.”
