A car was dumped and set on fire yards from a petrol station in the early hours this morning.

The Citroen car was found on fire at around 2am on the A417 at East Challow, Wantage, near the Esso garage.

Flames spread to a Chrysler Voyager that was partially damaged by the fire.

Police are investigating the blaze after firefighters warned it is likely to have been deliberate set alight.
