SIX Wantage artists, inspired by the people and landscapes of Oxfordshire, are exhibiting at the Museum of Oxford.
The '3+3' show features paintings, sculpture, photographs and mixed media pieces and runs to the end of the month.
The show was set up originally by Stuart Roper, Lendon Scantlebury and Dawn Benson, and they are joined by Trisha Drury, Graham Woodall and Barry Hitchcox.
Mr Roper said: "We are all very different artists, with contrasting work in the exhibition showing how each one of us interprets what is around us in very different ways.
"The subjects include Oxford landmarks, portraits, wildlife and landscapes. Reflections of the artists' backgrounds and heritage are evident in our varied responses to Oxford, Oxfordshire and the life and scenery of this beautiful county.
"It all goes to make for a very dynamic show."
One of Neil Simon's best-loved plays, Plaza Suite, is being staged at The Mill at Sonning Common until September 6.
Directed by Anthony Valentine, it stars Terence Booth, Issy van Randwyck, Kelly Hotten and Jonathan Niton.
Three different couples visit Suite 719 at the Plaza Hotel in New York for very different reasons.
Sam and Karen Nash honeymooned in the suite 20 years before and Karen is trying to recreate the whole thing.
Film director Jesse Kiplinger has arranged a rendezvous with an old flame, and Norma and Roy Hubley are there for their daughter's wedding.
The wonderfully witty dialogue guarantees a lot of laughs for the audience.
On Saturday, the annual fireworks concert at Basildon Park, near Reading, has a 70s theme, with Boney M, T-Rextasy and Abba Inferno.
