Death-crash driver named

A woman driver who died in a road crash outside Wantage last week has been identified.

The accident happened on a bend in Chainhill Road, on the B4494 shortly before 6am on Thursday, just south of the town.

A spokesman for Oxford coroner's office said the woman was Heather McMillan, 45, from Camberley, Surrey.

I think I passed this crash site on my way to Newbury last Thursday as there were lots of skid marks on the road. I do not recall seeing any flowers or other tributes on the verge. If so rather sad as she was going to/from Wantage.
