A summary of policing in Thames Valley is to be delivered to almost 900,000 households throughout September.
The 12-page booklet contains information on the activities of Thames Valley Police Force and Thames Valley Police Authority over the past 12 months.
It is a statutory requirement of the authority to produce the policing summaries.
The same format as last year will be used. There will be five different documents, one for each of the force's Basic Command Units - Oxfordshire, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire East and Berkshire West.
Christine Weston, chairman of the Thames Valley Police Authority, said: "Although we are required to produce the summaries by the Government, it is something which I am very pleased to do.
"Posting them through the door gives us an opportunity to get into the homes of people throughout the region and show the public what policing in Thames Valley is about.
