Olympic rowers will present the prizes to those just starting out in the sport at this month's Wallingford Town regatta.
Paul Mattick and Helen Casey, who train at Wallingford Rowing Club, both rowed for Great Britain at the Beijing Olympics.
Joining them on Saturday, September 13, will be Ken Lester, from Wallingford, the country's youngest ever Olympian, who took part in the Rome Olympics in 1960 as cox in the coxed pairs rowing crew when he was 13.
Rowing club spokesman Dariel Burdass said: "It's very much a family affair, with beginners and amateurs doing the racing.
"They tackle a 300-yard stretch of the Thames at the Riverside Meadows. It's an event aimed at encouraging young people to take to the water. There will also be events for all the family."
The regatta will run between 9.30am and 5.30pm.
