Christmas Day 'will be snow-free'

Oxfordshire will almost definitely not be enjoying a white Christmas, the Met Office said today.

Temperatures are set to rise throughout the week, with Christmas Day — Friday — likely to be sunny with blue skies, but completely snow free.

Tuesday and Wednesday will also be sunny, with temperatures dropping to -4C at night.

Heavy rain is predicted for Christmas Eve, with daytime temperatures reaching 4C. The rain is expect to clear by Friday.
