Iain McFadyen, 41, of Luther Street, Oxford, admitted shoplifting four bottles of sherry valued at £17.96 from Sainsbury’s in Oxford on February 16. Fined £75 and a £15 victims’ surcharge, deemed paid by detention in the court for a day.

Carl Suter, 30, of Underhill Circus, Oxford, admitted shoplifting two Fuji digital cameras valued at £98 from Jessops in Oxford on December 29, two counts of failure to surrender to court bail and commission of another offence while subject to a suspended prison sentence. Jailed for three months.

Matthew Irons, 25, of Jasmine Close, Oxford, admitted drink driving in Grenoble Road, Oxford, on February 7. Namely having 58microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35microgrammes. Fined £175, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for a year, reducible by three months on completion of a course.

Reece Spencer, 19, of Kingfisher Green, Oxford, admitted criminally damaging shelves in a freezer and a cupboard door in Oxford on February 7. Fined £260, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Laurynas Berenis, 34, of Strawberry Path, Oxford, admitted being a vehicle driver failing to provide a specimen for analysis and dangerous driving in the pedestrian area of Jourdain Road, Oxford, on January 7. Given eight weeks in prison, suspended for a year, and told to pay £80 costs. Also given a 12-week curfew, a 12-month supervision requirement and banned from driving for 20 months.

Bongani Nziweni, 30, of Coverley Road, Oxford, admitted two counts of handling stolen goods between December 16 and January 26. Namely two laptops valued at £1,000 each. Given a three-month curfew.

Florin Stancu, 24, of Lordship Lane, London, admitted shoplifting jointly with Robert Vasile make-up valued at £585.17 from Sainsbury’s in Oxford on February 9. Jailed for 12 weeks.

Catalin Vasile , 27, of no fixed address, admitted attempting to shoplift various cosmetic items from Sainsbury’s in Wantage on February 18 and committing another offence while subject to a conditional discharge. Jailed for eight weeks.

Marian Vasilescu 20, of Holstein Way, Erith, Kent, admitted shoplifting food, alcohol and clothing to the value of £478.64 from Sainsbury’s in Wantage on February 18. Jailed for four weeks because the offence was committed on bail and three theft matters were committed that month.

S Morgan and Sons Ltd, Field Farm, Appleton, admitted 20 counts of unlawfully moving cattle between April 28 and June 5. Fined £18,816.90.

Carl Whitehead, 50, of Paddon Place, Fareham, Hants, admitted using threatening words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress on February 4 in Oxford. Fined £50 and a £15 victims’ surcharge. Deemed paid by detention in the court until the end of day.

Dylan Davies, 32, of Dafforne Road, Wandsworth, London, admitted using a vehicle without insurance at Oxford Brookes’ Headington Hill campus on December 12. Fined £85, £15 victims’ surcharge and £20 costs.

Donna Pellett, 34, of Whitethorn Way, Oxford, admitted assault occasioning actual bodily harm in Oxford on September 17. Told to do 120 hours’ unpaid work and pay £150 compensation.

Phillip Pledge, 42, of April Square, Portsmouth, admitted assault by beating in Oxford on October 30. Given a 12-week curfew and told to pay £100 compensation.

Denise Blair, 60, of Bullingdon Road, Oxford, admitted shoplifting cosmetics valued at £143.98p from Boots in Oxford on January 27. Given a 12-month conditional discharge.

Rajinderpal Panesar, 31, of Elizabeth Drive, Wantage, admitted drink driving in Downsview Road, Grove, on February 2. Namely having 64 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 microgrammes. Fined £250, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 17 months, reducible by four months on completion of a course.

James White-Cooper, 42, of Hunters Field, Stanford in the Vale, admitted cultivating 66 cannabis plants, a Class B drug, on November 19. Given 80 hours unpaid work with £85 costs.

Jeremy Lewis, 32, of Vineyard, Abingdon, admitted assault by beating on June 29 in Wantage, shoplifting groceries from Sainsbury’s in Wantage on January 29 and committing another offence while subject to a conditional discharge. Jailed for 12 weeks.

Jason Mitchell, 33, of Swinburne Road, Abingdon, admitted shoplifting cigarettes, alcohol and sweets valued at £85.32 from The Local off licence, assault by beating and obstructing a Pc in their duty in Abingdon on November 27. Told to pay £85 costs and carry out 120 hours’ unpaid work.

Shaun Barlow, 23, of Watkin Street, Warrington, admitted being drunk and disorderly in a public place and possessing a lock knife in Abingdon High Street on January 31. Fined £300, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Darren Brady, 25, of Greenhill, Oxford, admitted shoplifting meat valued at £40 belonging to Co-op in Abingdon on January 17. Given a one-month curfew order and told to pay £40 compensation.

Jamie Woodley, 22, of Caldecott Road, Abingdon, admitted theft of a wallet containing £50 cash and cards between July 17 and July 26 in Abingdon. Given a community order with treatment for drug dependency and a 12-month supervision requirement. Also told to pay £80 compensation.

Adam Townsend, 28, of Mayfield Close, Chalgrove, admitted driving without insurance on September 18 in Cowley Road, Oxford. Fined £200, £65 costs and a £15 victims’ surcharge. Banned from driving for 28 days.
