THE audience has the chance to play detective when Woodcote Amateur Dramatic Society stages another of its popular murder mystery evenings.

AmDram is Murder, a play written by member Karen Foster, is this year’s offering at Woodcote village hall from Thursday to Saturday, June 9 to 11, at 7.30pm.

Somewhere, in a village in England, a drama group is staging a murder mystery play and rehearsals are in full flow. But, with the opening night approaching fast, one of the cast falls victim to a foul murder — but who is the culprit?

Identifying the murderer is down to the audience, who will have eye witness testimony to help them. They will be able to question the suspects as they attempt to fugure out the guilty party and possibly win a prize. The play will have a different ending each night, so you can’t just ask someone who has been the night before to tell you the answer!

The show is produced by experienced actor and producer Terry Sopp.

Seating is limited as the audience will be sitting at tables, restaurant-style. Tickets must be booked in advance as none will be sold on the door. They cost £14 each, including a ploughman’s supper and dessert, and are available from Marcia Spiers on 07776 298754 or email boxoffice@woodcotedrama.co.uk
