POLICE want to speak to a “drunk” man after a gun was found near the war memorial in Harwell High Street on Thursday.
A member of the public found the unloaded .38 revolver, believed to date back to the Second World War, at about 7.30am and armed response officers and sniffer dogs were called in.
They want to speak to a man aged about 40 with short blond hair.
