TROLLEYS were at the ready in Abingdon as the winners of the Oxford Mail’s Trolley Dash claimed their prize.
Harriet and Leon Turner, pictured, had 60 seconds to get their hands on everything they could from the Budgens store in Northcourt Road last week,.
Mr Turner, 31, from Abingdon, said: “It was a real experience to be able to rush around the shop as we liked for a minute. It was slightly surreal, not really what you expect to be doing on a Monday morning, but it was good fun.”
Mr Turner and his wife Harriet, 40, said they had gone for a “lot of meat” and were looking forward to eating their way through their haul.
He added: “Our trolley was pretty full by end. Next time we’ll get a bigger trolley and cram more in.”
