FOUR tiny new additions have arrived at a garden centre – and are busy winning admirers.
The micro pigs have taken up residence at the garden centre at Millets Farm Centre in Frilford, near Abingdon.
The 12 week-old miniature Bedfordshire pigs arrived this week and will stay for the summer.
The centre is now asking people to come up with names for the three sisters and one brother in a competition.
Garden centre assistant Peter Strange said: “They have settled in really well and are attracting the kids.
“They obviously smell a bit but they have a lot of character and people are taking a shine to them. They are really friendly. They are definitely clever and one of them has learned to sit already.
“They are a really nice addition to the farm.”
He said names had already been suggested, with favourites including Vera, Ethel, Bert and Winnie. But added: “If anyone has any better suggestions then they are welcome.”
The micro pigs are living in a custom-built pen where they will be until September.
To submit name suggestions visitors can complete a slip from the customer service desk before August 31.
Prize winners will get tickets for a pumpkin carving session at the centre at Halloween.
