THE Red Arrows will be performing a full aerobatic display at this year’s White Horse Show in Uffington.
The display team was due to perform at the show’s 40th anniversary celebrations last year but pulled out when one of the crew members was killed at an air show two weeks before the event.
The country show takes place on fields off Fawler Road under the 3,000-year-old chalk figure on White Horse Hill on the August bank holiday weekend.
The Red Arrows will perform on Bank Holiday Monday, August 27, at about 11am.
Squadron Leader Mike Ling will provide a commentary from the ground on the 25-minute display and visitors will be able to meet him.
For those who cannot make it on Monday, a Second World War hurricane plane will perform an air display on the Sunday.
The show will also offer other family attractions including arena events, craft stalls, animals, and historic vehicles.
