Pupils at Crowmarsh Gifford School were treated to an Olympic visitor.
Five-time Olympic gold medallist Steve Redgrave, pictured, visited the primary school to unveil its 2012 celebratory mosaic to mark a great year for Great Britain with the Jubilee and Olympics.
The art work was created by last year’s Year Six pupils, who returned for the ceremony and a chance to meet Sir Steve.
The Olympic athlete brought along his Olympic torch on Thursday, and talked about how to become a sporting hero.
Headteacher Barbara O’Dwyer said: “The children have been inspired by the Olympics and Sir Steve brought all that excitement back into school with his visit.”
