THESE teenage entrepreneurs are hoping their budget blend of beauty products can catapult them to success.

The year 10 students from Our Lady’s Abingdon will be battling it out tonight at the county finals of the Young Enterprise Awards.

Their company, Press Play, has been making and selling low-cost beauty products including nail decor kits “for the austerity era”, aimed at female students.

Marketing director Eirian Prosser, 15, said: “We all know beauty products are expensive and our friend saw a type of kit while on holiday that wasn’t on sale in the UK yet.”

Managing director Ana Herlambang, 15, added: “The product costs less than half those sold by high street retailers and have been designed by, with and for teenagers”.

The group has already won an award for best business plan at Cowley Trade Fair.
