A MAN has been charged following the theft of a TV and an iPhone in Abingdon.
Jake Benjamin Smith, 25, was charged with two counts of theft from a dwelling and was also charged with three counts of theft from a person in Abingdon.
Thames Valley Police said the charges related to the theft of a TV from a home in Oxford Road on May 6 and the theft of an iPhone from a person in Bury Street on May 15.
Officers added the charges also related to the theft of £20 in Market Place and a further £20 and tobacco stolen from a home in Brampton Close on June 19.
Smith, who has also been charged in connection with refusing to hand back money that fell from someone’s pocket on June 26, will appear at Oxford Magistrates' Court on August 27.
