CHILDREN got back to nature with their families during the half term holidays with a trip to the reserve at Little Wittenham.
The Earth Trust held a woodland adventure day to help youngsters learn more about the woods.
Tessa Clayton, from Marston, took her daughter Sophia, six, along for the day.
She said: “It was great. We had a lovely day and Sophia loved it.
“It was very well organised and it was nice to walk through the woods, which was good exercise.
“We did lots of outdoor activities and the children learned how to light fires, but also how to be safe around them.”
