THIS year's WADS Stock music festival near Abingdon was the biggest yet and raised more than £4,500 for charity, organisers have announced.

The one-day bonanza of music, classic cars and crafts at Wootton and Dry Sandford Community Centre raised a total of £4,539.45.

The money has now been shared equally between Thames Valley Air Ambulance and the upkeep of the community centre.

More than 2,000 people flocked to the event on Saturday, July 30, to enjoy the eclectic mix of Morris dancing, folk music, belly dancing and a fun fair.

Event organiser Karen Fysh thanked everyone involved and announced next year's festival will be held on Saturday, July 29.
