Police hunt pair who attacked 23-year-old man in McDonald's car park
A MAN was assaulted in a McDonald's car park as his girlfriend and a passer-by tried to fend off his attackers.
Police want to track down two men who began a fight in the Colwell Drive fast food branch in Abingdon, at 11am on Saturday, September 10. Officers only issued an appeal today.
The 23-year-old victim was sat in a parked car with his girlfriend when two men pulled up next to them and knocked on the car window.
When he got out they attacked him, leaving him bruised but not in need of hospital treatment, and drove off.
Investigating officer PC Neil McGrath appealed for witnesses today, and said he particularly wanted to speak to the member of the public who broke up the fight.
