DOZENS of stolen tools have been recovered by police after a raid in the Wheatley area.

Officers are now hoping to reunite the power tools, which include chainsaws, drills and circular saws, with their rightful owners and are appealing for people to come forward.

If your power tool has been stolen recently and you recognise it in these pictures, police are opening up Abingdon police station on set dates for people to reclaim their property.

People are being asked to bring proof of purchase to the police station if they have it.

If the paperwork has not been kept police say they will assess each case 'on its own merits' and make a decision based on information provided.

The dates for people to attend the police station are Saturday January 6 between midday and 5pm and Sunday January 7, between 9am and 4pm.

Those who can't attend should contact police by calling 101 or email thomas.coulman@thamesvalley.pnn.police.uk
