Pupils tune in to radio

YOUNGSTERS relished the challenge of building their own radios at Chilton Primary School.

The six- to eleven-year-olds at Chilton Primary School in Downside built their own crystal radio sets, and plan to use their new skills to set up a podcast radio station.

The project was launched by parent Margaret Graham, who is an engineer at Culham Centre for Fusion Energy.
