ORGANISERS of Didcot’s annual street fair are looking for someone with a special birthday to help celebrate the event’s 20th year.

They want someone who was born on December 1, 1994, the date of the first street fair, to take part in this year’s parade.

The street fair is held each year in November and Jeanette Howse, who has organised the event for the past two decades, is starting her search now.

Mrs Howse, a member of Didcot Chamber of Commerce, said: “It’s going to be a big one for the street fair this year as we will be celebrating 20 years and plan to make it a huge celebration.”

Mrs Howse, who is working with civic hall manager Rachael Spindler on plans, added: “We will try to feature the best of the past 20 years.”

This year’s street fair will take place on November 28.

  • If you’ve got the special birthday and would like to take part, please ring Mrs Howse on 07771 967633.
