A MAN charged with a series of arson attacks is due to appear at Oxford Crown Court today.

Andrew Main, of Roke Marsh Farm, Rokemarsh, near Benson, faces four charges in connection with a series of incidents on January 15, including a blaze at the South Oxfordshire and Vale district council headquarters in Benson Lane, Crowmarsh Gifford.

Main, who is in custody, is charged with two counts of arson with intent to endanger life, and two counts of arson reckless as to whether life was endangered.
