A WOMAN walking along an alleyway in Didcot was sexually assaulted by a man with a tattoo on his face.

Officers have released an e-fit after a 33-year-old woman said she was touched inappropriately.  The victim was walking down an alley from Edinburgh Drive at about 11.30pm on Saturday, October 3, when she was approached by a man who touched her and then ran off.

He is described as white, in his late thirties or early forties, 5ft 7ins to 5ft 9ins, stocky with short, shaved hair and a round, clean-shaven face.

He had a tattoo under his right eye, as shown in the e-fit, and was wearing a white or cream short-sleeved T-shirt with a small black or navy blue square motif on the front.

PC Jason Walsh, investigating officer based at Didcot, said: “I would like to hear from anyone who was either in the Edinburgh Drive area at the relevant time and saw the offender or who has information about him.

“We have just received the e-fit of the distinctive tattoo which I hope will help with the investigation.”

Anyone with information should call PC Walsh via the police enquiry line, 101.
