A TREASURED member of a scout group in Didcot has been missing from its pack for more than a week.

Bob the Beaver from 12th Didcot Scouts was left on the number X13 bus travelling from Redbridge park and ride to the John Radcliffe Hospital on March 23.

An appeal has been made by seven-year-old Sian Mare, who was given the mascot for her bravery after she had broken her elbow.

Her and mum Zoe Mare were travelling to the John Radcliffe Hospital, to have Sian's cast removed when Bob accidentally got left behind.

Mrs Mare, 42, who lives in Didcot, said: "She is absolutely devastated.

"We were travelling to the John Radcliffe because she was going to have the pins in her elbow removed.

"It wasn't until we got back on the bus to go home that she started crying because she realised she had left Bob on the bus as we got off."

The family got off the bus at about 12.30pm on Monday and left Bob on the top deck.

Mrs Mare added: "He's a one-of-a-kind teddy, they do not make him anymore

"And to the five, six, seven-year-olds at the group he means the world to them.

"Every week someone takes him home and they have to write about their adventures with him in a book."
