THE inquests of three men killed when Didcot Power Station collapsed were opened this morning.

The post mortem examinations of Chris Huxtable, 33, from Swansea, Ken Cresswell, 57 and John Shaw, 61, both from Rotherham, indicated the men had died from 'multiple injuries'.

Oxfordshire coroner Darren Salter told the court the three men recovered from the site had undergone different identification processes after they were recovered from the wreckage.

He said: "Mr Huxtable was identified by fingerprints.

"Mr Cresswell was identified using of odontology carried out by an odontologist.

"Mr Shaw was identified by secondary indemnifiers which included his tattoos, his mobile phone and specific jewellery and clothing he was wearing."
