TV'S MOST famous engine chugged his way into Didcot Railway Centre for a weekend of activities.
Thomas the Tank Engine and his pals were all aboard as youngsters clamoured on to enjoy a ride.
The Fat Controller was also at the station, giving demonstrations.
Donna Maynard was with her husband Steve and three-year-old son Josh.
The 37-year-old said: "Josh absolutely loves steam trains - whenever we go on holiday we have to visit a railway station there so he can see the trains.
"When he saw Thomas, his face just lit up, he was so excited.
"We have never been for a Thomas day here before but it was great that we were also able to have a look at some of the other steam trains getting restored.
"It has been a really great day, there have been so many activities, we've really enjoyed ourselves."
As well as steam rides, the centre also had a magic show, balloon modelling and a clown to entertain visitors.
