A 'women hating' parrot was at large in Didcot for more than 24 hours until he was cornered in a garden shed.
The bird, named Smudge, escaped from his home in Bowness Avenue area yesterday morning.
His owners raised the alarm, warning 'he does not like women and is likely to attack them.'
Concerns were also raised for the bird's safety in the cold weather.
A frantic search of nearby woods and gardens took place yesterday.
Sam Mitchell, whose brother owns the bird, said Smudge was located this morning.
A family in Edwin Road has managed to shut him in their shed with food and water whilst waiting for him to be collected.
