There is an important omission from the credits in the report of our party on the front page of the Abingdon Herald (August 14).

The garden bench that we are crowded around was donated by McCarthy and Stone (the original builders), in recognition of our tenth anniversary.

It replaces one that was swept away in the floods.

We would be grateful if you could set the record straight.
