A CONSULTATION on proposed boundary changes in South Oxfordshire has been launched.
The Local Government Boundary Commission for England has given people living in the district until Monday, January 7 to have their say on the plans.
In order to allow for more even representation by fewer councillors, the commission has said the council should have 36 councillors in the future. That is a reduction of 12.
The recommendations outline how there should be eight wards represented by one councillor, eight by two and four by three members.
To take part, write to The Review Officer (South Oxfordshire), Local Government Boundary Commission for England, Layden House, 76-86 Turnmill Street, London EC1M 5LG, email reviews@lgbce.org.uk or visit consultation.lgbce.org.uk
