Villagers in South Oxfordshire will unveil their hand-painted mural depicting 3,000 years of the district’s history tomorrow.

A group of artists from Cholsey have been meeting up once a week for the past six months to complete the project. The two metre by four metre painting tells the story of the area from the Bronze Age to the present day.

It features Romans, Vikings and Normans who settled in the parish as well as Agatha Christie, its most famous resident.

The team is due to unveil the mural at Cholsey pavilion in Station Road at 4pm tomorrow.
