A LIFE-saving defibrillator was stolen from an ambulance volunteer's car along with other first aid equipment.

Thieves hit the community first responder's car in The Goggs, Watlington, overnight on Thursday.

Thames Valley Police said as well as a defibrillator, three first-aid training mannequins and a sewing machine were stolen.

A defibrillator is a device which delivers electric shocks to the heart of someone who has suffered a cardiac arrest in order to try and save their life.
