THREE women have denied allegations of abuse against elderly residents at the care home where they worked.
Elizabeth Collins, 61, of Kynaston Road, Didcot, is charged with wilful neglect of a resident and six counts of breaching a care provider’s duty at Winterbrook Nursing Home in Cholsey.
Mary Craddock, 59, of Egerton Road, Wallingford, is charged with five counts of wilful neglect and Joan Lovell, 63, of St Leonard’s Lane, Wallingford, with three counts.
All three appeared at Oxford Magistrates' Court this morning and entered not guilty pleas to all charges.
The court heard the charges relate to abuse over a period of more than two years, between 2015 and 2017.
Allegations involve several elderly patients.
The women are next due to appear at Oxford Crown Court on May 11.
They were each granted unconditional bail in the interim.
