MORE than 400 people will pound through Wantage in a sea of pink on Sunday to stand up to cancer.
Cyclists, runners, walkers and wheelchair users will set off from the market place from 9.30am to complete five, 10 or 20k routes.
The Market Place will be filled with funfair rides and inflatables, and a barbecue provided by Wantage Rotary Club. All proceeds go to Cancer Research UK.
Wantage Standing up to Cancer is the brainchild of charity champion Ray Collins.
He has had help organising the day from two young cancer sufferers, Maisie Norton, 15, who is now fighting cancer for a third time in five years, and eight-year-old Mikayla Beames, who is battling brain cancer.
More than 300 adults and 100 children have signed up to Ray’s Race for Life, running, walking or cycling for Cancer Research UK.
