A new police area commander has been chosen for South Oxfordshire and Vale of White Horse.
Supt Jim O’Ryan, formerly deputy area commander for Milton Keynes, has taken up the position.
His predecessor, Chief Supt Andrew Boyd, has been appointed head of neighbourhood policing and partnerships, and is now based at Thames Valley Police’s headquarters in Kidlington.
